Elise Auerbach is a member of music staff at the Academy of Vocal Arts, and has been a member of the coaching staff at Temple University for 15 years. She frequently serves as music director/pianist for productions by Delaware Valley Opera Company, Children’s Opera Box, Opera Society of NJ, and Wissahickon Woods Opera Theater. In addition, Ms. Auerbach enjoys an active and diverse career as a collaborative artist. Recent concerts include faculty recitals at Temple, Rowan and Immaculata Universities, and appearances at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Croatian Embassy in Washington D.C. She has participated in and performed at festivals in Japan, Italy, Canada, and the United States, and toured twice in Germany as part of the Ribbeck/Auerbach violin/piano duo. Other performance highlights include orchestral appearances with the Delaware and Temple University Symphonies and live broadcasts on Cincinnati Public Radio WGUC. Ms. Auerbach is pianist for Symphony in C, and is a founding member of Philalea, a Philadelphia-based chamber ensemble. She holds a BM from Temple University and MM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
