Originally from Campinas (Brazil), Gabriel Rebolla has a career as a soloist, piano professor, collaborative pianist and Opera Coach performing in many concert halls throughout Brazil, Italy and United States.
Today Mr. Rebolla is a permanent resident in Philadelphia and works as staff accompanist and coach at Temple University and Immaculada University. He is also piano teacher at Chestnut Hill Music Academy and Philly Music Lessons. Gabriel studied with great teachers such as Harvey Wedeen (USA), Lambert Orkis (USA), Valery Ryvkin (USA), Mauricy Martin (Brazil), Yara Ferraz (Brazil), Amaral Vieira (Brazil) and Sergio Gallo (USA). Mr. Rebolla has also performed with the important conductors Karl Martin, Ted Murray, Lance Inouye, Carlos Fiorini, Vasti Atique, Hermes Coelhor and Eduardo Ostergreen to name a few.
He frequently works as director and/or pianist of opera companies and operas program such as Delaware Valley Opera (Philadelphia), Atlantic Coast Opera (New Jersey), “La Musica Lirica” (Italy), Fio Américas (Brazil), “La Boheme” (New Jersey), “Libera Opera” (Philadelphia) and “Fringe Opera festival” (Philadelphia).
Mr. Rebolla has received some national and international awards such as the Stegner Scholarship for best pianist at Georgia State University in 2008-2009, the Cadenza Piano Competition in Bauru in 2004 where he also received an award for best interpretation of Brazilian music, and also received twice the Carlos Gomes medal for his work as collaborative pianist in Brazil.
